Ink to Garment

Direct to Garment Printing, or inkjet garment printing as it is also known, is the process of designing artwork in your computer and then printing it directly to the garment via an inkjet process similar to as desktop inkjet printer. This process allows you to print in full color using a CMYK or expanded CMYK inkset to reproduce full color artwork without the hassles and setup of traditional screen printing.

Pro's to inkjet garment printing:

  • No minimum quantity
  • No charges for multiple colors
  • No thick ink, garment has more of a 'died' appearance
  • Faster turn-around
  • Print picture quality images straight from any file on your computer
Con's to inkjet garment printing:
  • Much lower quantity discounts than screen printing
  • Only available on very light colored garments (think of printing from your computer printer onto colored paper- white will show the best, black would not show at all.)
  • No white ink
  • Primarily printed on Cotton garments only
If the pro's fit into the spectrum of your order, and none of the con's will effect what you would like- Ink to Garment printing is for you! The standard shirt, full color front and back on a basic T-Shirt is $12.00 Per Shirt.
